This Privacy Policy explains how Glama collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the Service.

    Depending on how you use Glama, we may collect:

    • Contact & account details
      • name, email, phone number
      • role (brand/creator/agency), company name, location
    • Profile & matching information
      • social links/handles, niche/category, audience details you provide
      • campaign preferences, rates/availability (if provided)
      • notes you submit in forms or messages
    • Communications
      • messages you send to us (email, forms, chat)
      • if enabled: call metadata, recordings, transcripts, and summaries
    • Device & usage data
      • IP address, device/browser info, pages/events, cookies or similar analytics identifiers
  2. Why we collect it (purposes)

    We use personal information to:

    • provide the Service (intake, matching, introductions, support)
    • improve quality and safety (fraud/spam prevention, debugging, analytics)
    • communicate with you (service messages, support)
    • send marketing messages if you opt in (and where permitted)
  3. How introductions and sharing works
    • Before opt-in: we may show potential matches a limited profile preview and public links.
    • After double opt-in: we may share direct contact details (email) so you can connect.
  4. Instagram messaging opt-out

    If you contact Glama via Instagram DMs, we communicate only by responding to messages you initiate. Send "glama-unsubscribe" in a DM to Glama to unsubscribe from the Service and stop receiving communications (except to confirm your request). We may retain a minimal suppression record to ensure we respect your request.

  5. Legal bases (high-level)

    Where required, we rely on:

    • Consent (e.g., match opt-in, Service onboarding)
    • Providing the Service (processing needed to perform what you request)
    • Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), where allowed
  6. Who we share information with

    We may share personal information with:

    • Service providers (hosting, analytics, email/SMS/telephony, customer support tools, AI vendors) that process data for us
    • Other users (only as described in Section 3—double opt-in for contact details)
    • Legal/safety (to comply with law, enforce terms, or protect users and the public)

    AI processing

    Your messages may be processed by AI service providers acting on our behalf to generate responses and summaries. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information in messages.

  7. International data transfers

    Glama may process and store information in New Zealand, Australia, the United States, and other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws than your home country.

  8. Data retention

    We retain personal information while your account is active. If your account becomes inactive, we delete or de-identify personal information within 12 months, unless we need to retain it longer for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.

    Suppression records: if you opt out (e.g., by sending "glama-unsubscribe"), we may retain a minimal suppression record as long as needed to ensure we respect your request.

  9. Security

    We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No system is 100% secure.

    Data deletion

    You can request deletion of your data by emailing spencer@goglama.com (subject: "Data Deletion Request"). We will delete or de-identify data as required by applicable law and as described on our Data Deletion Instructions page: /data-deletion.

    We may retain a minimal suppression record to ensure we respect opt-out/deletion requests and to comply with legal, security, or dispute-resolution requirements.

  11. Cookies and analytics

    We may use cookies and similar technologies for login/session management, analytics, and performance. You can control cookies via your browser settings (some features may not work without cookies).

  12. Children

    Glama is not intended for users under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

  13. Changes to this policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy. We’ll post the updated version with a new effective date.
